Obituary for Eric Theodore Mason
Eric Mason, age 33, of Hazlet died Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Bayonne Medical Center. Eric Mason was born in Staten island, NY.
Eric was an athlete in high school and a member of the Hazlet volunteer fire company, He was an Engineer in the US army, Attended University of South Dakota and Kean university. He was employed by the Local 20 Carpenter’s union where he worked as a Fire Inspector, He was a diligent worker and was well liked by his colleagues. Eric lived an active life, he enjoyed hiking and exploring new cities, he enjoyed motorsports, surfing, local and world history. Eric was always eager to help others in need.
Eric Is predeceased by his Mother Sue Mason. He is survived by; his Father Theodore and brothers Michael and James. Eric was a generous and caring person, he continued that in death through the gift of organ donation.
Eric will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt. 35, Middletown, NJ 07748 on Sunday July 14, 2019 from 1 – 3pm. A Prayer Service will take place at the Funeral Home 2pm on Sunday
